Carol Bedford is an attorney in good standing, licensed to practice before all of the courts of the State of California, as well as in the Federal Courts. Carol has over 20 years experience as an attorney, handling a variety of legal matters, including family law, estate planning, Wills and Trusts, contract law, conservatorships, and probates. She is a certified specialist in settlement negotiation techniques, a credentialed law instructor for the California college system, and has appeared before the California Supreme Court. Before moving to Ajijic in 1998, Carol also served as a Judge for the California Superior Courts for a period of five years. Many residents of and visitors to Lake Chapala have found it helpful to consult with Carol when they have legal matters pending in the United States and want to review documents, have letters sent, or need help having legal pleadings prepared. Carol is also in charge of obtaining apostilles for our
clients. If you are not familiar with an "apostille", this is
